20071129 Marc Morano’s Round up – 29 November 2007
Yet another inconvenient study just before UN Conference.
Authored by Dr. David Evans, a mathematician, and a computer and electrical engineer, is head of Science Speak. (Also a former believer in man-made warming who converted to skeptic see: http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=927b9303-802a-23ad-494b-dccb00b51a12http://epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Minority.Blogs&ContentRecord_id=927b9303-802a-23ad-494b-dccb00b51a12 )

Excerpt: As of August 2007 we’ve measured where the warming is occurring in a fair bit of detail, using satellites and balloons. The observed signature is nothing like the greenhouse signature — the distinct greenhouse signature is entirely missing: There is no hotspot in the tropics at 10 km up, so now we know that greenhouse warming is not the (main) cause of global warming — so we know that carbon emissions are not the (main) cause of global warming.

Carbon Emissions Don’t Cause Global Warming
Guest Blog by David Evans, Science Speak
Our scientific understanding of global warming has gone through three stages:
See larger image http://icecap.us/images/uploads/AMSU_Global_.jpghere.
The IPCC 2007 report (the latest and greatest from the IPCC) is based on all scientific literature up to mid 2006. The Bali Conference is the bureaucratic response to that report. Too bad that the data has changed since then! See the full paper http://icecap.us/images/uploads/Evans-CO2DoesNotCauseGW.pdfhere.
